Bottle used for "Kalinkin" alcoholic beverage


The Kalinkin Brewery & Mead Association was the leader of beer production in the Russian Empire. The company was founded in St. Petersburg in 1795. Soon it began to supply its products to the Imperial Court. In the early 20th century, the company became the largest Russian brewery and was producing a variety of beer tipes. The most popular was Bavarian beer. Probably that it was delivered to Polotsk for the beer warehouse of Stritskiy Company. Advances of the Kalinkin Association were noted on the All-Russia industrial and art exhibition in 1896 in Nizhniy Novgorod. Today, the Stepan Razin Brewing Company is the successor of the oldest brewery of the Russian Empire.
