There was a wide variety of transport crockery in the early 20th century. The application of a barrel determined the choice of wood for its production. Oak barrels were used for storage of home-made beer, vegetable oil. Milk and honey were stored in linden barrels. In everyday life, a common container had volume from 5 to 120 liters.

The small volume barrel presented at the exhibition, was used for the transportation and storage of liquids. This is the work of an unknown cooper of the first half of the 20th century.
